荒川選手金メダル２

トリノオリンピックフィギュアスケートのエキシビションを見てしまいました。いつから始まるのかもわからなかったので、徹夜しますた。

でも見てよかったです。選手の演技はのびのびとし、すばらしい演技ばかりでした。村主選手の独創的な世界も良かったですし、荒川選手の晴れやかな表情もすばらしかった。

そしてなんといっても荒川選手の使った曲に感動。You raise me upという曲でもともとはシークレット・ガーデン(Secret Garden)というグループが作り、その後ジョシュ・グローバン(Josh Groban)という歌手によって人気の出た曲です。

私がこのYou raise me upの存在を知ったのは4年ほど前。シークレット・ガーデンが演奏するその曲をテレビで見たのがきっかけでした。ちょうどその頃結婚する直前で、新居に一足先に転居し、準備をしているときでした。歌詞にあまりに感動し、（真夜中だったけど）そのまま着替えてCDを購入しに行ったほどでした。

荒川選手の演技が始まり、最初の数小節でYou raise me upであることに気付き、本当にうれしかった。　たくさんの感動を有難う！！
